Discontinue the use of Retinol/Retin A 7 days prior to your treatment.
DO NOT tan, spray tan, or have sunburned skin in the area to be treated starting 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
DO NOT have botox or filler injections in the area to be treated 3 weeks prior to your appointment.
DO NOT take Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior to your appointment.
DO NOT drink alcohol 24hrs before your appointment.
DO NOT consume coffee or caffeine prior to your appointment the day of.
DO NOT take aspirin or ibprofen the day of your appointment.
DO NOT have a facial, chemical peel, or laser treatment within 3 weeks of your appointment.
DO drink plenty of water
Before your treatment.
DO NOT use any other products on the treatment area except the ointment given to you for 7 days unless instructed otherwise by your artist.
You may blot the treated area with a clean tissue or paper towel if it is weeping
DO NOT scratch, pick, or rub the treated area.
DO NOT expose the treated area to sun or tanning beds until it is fully healed.
Avoid swimming during your post care window.
Avoid smoking.
Avoid facial treatments, waxing, or exfoliating treatments on or around the treated area for 2 weeks.
Should you experience extreme pain or infection or believe you are having an allergic reaction in the days following your treatment seek medical attention immediately. Please notify your artist ASAP.
Excessive swelling is normal for the first 72 hours. You can ice the area if needed.
Redness, tenderness, itching, weeping and burning is normal and will subside within a couple days of your treatment.
Color comes and goes as collagen fibers heal & the natural exfoliating process occurs. It could look extremely dark, extremely light, or fade considerably during the healing process.
Your final results will not be achieved for 4-8 weeks.
Initial touch up sessions are crucial to enhancing the color, saturation, & evenness of the procedure. This will ensure a successful outcome of your treatment.
